Dear Alum

Anusmaran, the annual global IIMB Alumni meet , starts next weekend . With our alumni spread far and wide across the world, this is an event that tries to bring together the past and present , a day filled with nostalgia and pride to be associated with IIMB . Anusmaran'09 will be held between 16th to 23rd May at 11 following cities  New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, London, New York, Hong Kong, Dubai and Singapore . An excellent platform to meet old buddies , make new ones , rekindle relationship with the campus , engage with students , faculty , industry champions and last but not least to have a great time together.

Planning for Anusmaran'09 started at the alumni office , student alumni bodies and city chapters few months back.  Historically , it has been done on a single day which for this year was planned on 16th. But due to the election results in India clashing with 16th ,  and local chapter preferences along with challenges in getting venues on same day , we have an entire week of celebration. The city and venue details are at http://www.iimbaa.org/images/Anusmaran_Cities.JPG . Do connect with your chapter office bearers at http://www.iimbaa.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=72&Itemid=111 for detailed agenda , time and other details.

A major thrust for this year is to provide lot of details on whats happening at IIMB campus and our growth plans. We want to engage all alumni in this phase of growth. Students will be calling you personally to ensure maximum participation. We have created a vibrant logo for Anusmaran with the help of a professional agency run by one of senior alums. And guess what , we have 7 sponsors – elite names from the industry , supporting the event . Citibank and Golf Retreat have taken up diamond sponsorships. Hyundai , Emmar MGF and HSBC have taken Gold level and Toyota , Aircel have taken Silver sponsorships.

We request you to confirm your participation with your local chapter. Look forward to seeing you at Anusmaran'09

Regards,

Rakesh Godhwani

Congratulations Sandeepan: On Winning Brand Equity Quiz 2009

Just read that  Mr. Chaudhuri has cracked the Brand Equity Quiz 2009, and as the newspapers are saying - by a big margin! :) Congratulations!!!!!! This is awesome....

It was clear from the start that the Delhi team was the force to reckon with. It looked like there was nothing that Rohan Khanna and Sandeepan Chaudhuri from Accenture Delhi didn't know of, and what they didn't know, they worked out very intelligently.

"This team was in a different league altogether. They demolished competition in Delhi, and in the history of 19 years of Brand Equity quiz are the first team to score 100-plus in the finals,' - Derek OBrien said. (TimesofIndia - PDF attached).

Pancho the dude - love the way you are beaming in the pic :) Way to go... Scorpio mein ride kab karwa raha hai..
